RouteIQ Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 30, 2026

RouteIQ ("RouteIQ," "we," "us") provides AI-powered lead routing and routing-audit services for revenue teams on Salesforce. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our Free Routing Audit, and the RouteIQ product.

1. Who this applies to

This policy covers two groups: visitors who submit our website forms (for example, the Free Routing Audit request), and customers who connect RouteIQ to their Salesforce instance. Where we process Salesforce data on a customer's behalf, we act as a data processor and the customer remains the data controller.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you request a Free Routing Audit or book a call, we collect your name, work email, company, country, address, and any details you share about your routing setup.

Salesforce data you authorize us to access. If you connect your Salesforce instance for an audit or for the product, we access only the objects and fields needed to analyze and route leads — typically Lead, Opportunity, User, and related routing and outcome data (including closed-won and closed-lost records). We request access through Salesforce OAuth. We never ask for your Salesforce password and cannot see it.

Usage and technical data. When you use our website or product, we collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps, through cookies and similar technologies.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to deliver the Free Routing Audit and produce your report, operate and improve the RouteIQ product, respond to your inquiries and contact you about your audit or account, secure our services and prevent abuse, and meet legal and contractual obligations.

We use your Salesforce data solely to provide the services you've requested — analyzing routing performance, scoring and matching leads, and training routing models on your own outcome data. We do not use one customer's data to train models for, or benefit, any other customer.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, and analytics), each bound by contract to protect it and use it only for our instructions; when required by law or to protect our rights and users; and in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition, where this policy continues to apply.

5. How we protect your data

We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, OAuth-based access to Salesforce (no stored passwords), least-privilege access controls and scoped permissions, and access logging. We are pursuing SOC 2 compliance; current security documentation is available on request for customers under evaluation.

6. Data retention

We keep Free Routing Audit data only as long as needed to deliver your audit and follow up, and we delete or anonymize it on request. For customers, we retain Salesforce data for the duration of the engagement and delete it within 30 days of account termination, unless a longer period is required by law. You can request deletion at any time.

7. Revoking access

You can disconnect RouteIQ from Salesforce at any time through your Salesforce connected-apps settings, which immediately revokes our access. You can also email us to request that we delete any data we hold.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA where they apply).

9. International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

10. Children's privacy

RouteIQ is a business product not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a revised "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify customers directly.
